The Inspired Educator, The Inspired Student

Experiential, Brain Friendly Strategies to Engage, Motivate and Build a Supportive Classroom Community

Come learn practical ways to engage and motivate learners, inspire a sense of discovery, instill a desire to learn, and create a positive and supportive learning community.

This workshop explores:

• Strategies for creating a positive environment for learning, starting on day one and maintaining it throughout the school year
• Practical tools and engaging classroom activities that develop a healthy atmosphere of respect and trust, peer to peer and teacher to student
• Experiential techniques to help students practice and reinforce social and emotional skills such as problem-solving, empathy, communication and conflict-resolution skills
• A variety of “brain-friendly” teaching approaches and interactive games and activities that will help liven up your academic lessons and differentiate instruction

These methods empower students to take more control and responsibility for their learning and help encourage experimentation and creativity while reinforcing important social and emotional skills.

Join in this fun and interactive workshop and leave with useful activities, strategies, and new perspectives on experiential education, differentiated instruction, classroom community building, and brain-compatible teaching approaches.
