This carefully selected collection of unique images captures a group’s attention and inspires meaningful reflection and conversation. The postcard collection is popular with teachers, counselors, and group facilitators for helping individuals and groups process specific experiences. They can be used as a great introduction activity or for group closing activities. The postcards have been used as a tool to help participants resolve conflict or establish group norms. Postcards also make great creative writing or journaling prompts for self-reflection.

People often find it easier to express themselves through a picture or symbol rather than through verbal means. Because the participants can talk about the object or image rather than about themselves directly, they sometimes express thoughts that would otherwise be left unsaid. The thoughts, ideas and connections inspired by the objects lead to broader and deeper reflection sessions than when using dialogue alone.

Each kit contains 36 postcards and facilitation ideas.
